Frequently asked questions Mijn NN Zakelijk

General

When will my account be converted to the new management portal?
We will contact your advisor as soon as your account is up for conversion. Then we will contact you to do a number of checks and to go through the (technical) steps, so that we can execute the conversion carefully.

What will happen to my other Nationale-Nederlanden products?
Do you also have other (pension and/or income) products with Nationale-Nederlanden? We will send you separate information if there is a change to managing them online.

What does gradually introducing a single management portal mean?
  • We will be adding new products and functionality to Mijn NN Zakelijk each quarter.
  • We will gradually convert all current portals to the new management portal.

We realise that we may not immediately be offering all the functionality you are used to in your current portal. Some components have already been improved, others are still under development. We are, for example, investing heavily in interfaces with external sources, such as municipalities and UWV, so that you will find it increasingly easy to work with us. By migrating now, we can focus even more on developing a portal that grows in user-friendliness for all our customers.

What happens to my history when my account is converted to Mijn NN Zakelijk?

Mijn NN Zakelijk starts with a clean slate and the update history in the current portal will not be transferred. The current account statements will also not be transferred.

We will store your update and financial history securely in our records. You can also easily save the history yourself before your account is converted.

Is Mijn NN Zakelijk available in English?
Yes, Mijn NN Zakelijk is also available in English. After logging in to Mijn NN Zakelijk, click ‘English’ at the top right of the page to customise your language setting. On your next visit, you will automatically return to the English version of Mijn NN Zakelijk.

What is the Personal Records Database (BRP)?
This is the former Municipal Basic Administration (GBA). Nationale-Nederlanden may request the data of (prospective) participants in collective pension schemes from the Personal Records Database (BRP) in order to meet its obligations to implement the pension agreement.

What data from the Personal Records Database (BRP) is used by Nationale-Nederlanden?
We only use data needed to start and maintain participation in the pension scheme. For example, name and address details so we can inform  your employee about his or her participation. And civil status and the presence of children to insure survivor's pension.

I only see active participants in Mijn NN Zakelijk. Where can I find the non-active participants and their details?
You will be able to see non-active employees in the employee list for up to one year. You will only see an non-active employee’s name, gender, citizen service number, date of birth and date of leaving employment. Privacy legislation prevents us from displaying the premiums and entitlements for these participants any longer.

Can I distinguish between viewing and mutating rights in Mijn NN Zakelijk?
Yes, this is possible. The main user can delegate ‘Full Acces’ or ‘Read Only’ rights to a user. If a user has ‘Full Acces’ rights he or she can make changes, this is not possible with ‘Read Only’ rights.

How can I create accounts in Mijn NN Zakelijk for my colleagues?
The main user will be able to create accounts for colleagues in Mijn NN Zakelijk.

A guide to Mijn NN Zakelijk is available under 'Downloads' on nn.nl/mijn-nn-zakelijk.

Employees

On the employee page, I see a limited amount of information. Where is the rest of the information?
At the moment, only a limited amount of information is available. The Mijn NN Zakelijk screens will be expanded gradually to show the key details. We will of course continue to check this against privacy legislation.

I only see the pensionable salary and not the full-time annual salary. Is that right?
Yes, that is right. At the moment, we're just showing the pensionable salary. We will soon add the full-time annual salary.

Why can’t I see partner and address details anymore?
We use an interface with the Personal Records Database (BRP) and we are not allowed to share the information we receive with third parties. We store the information in our records.

How can I allocate an employee to another employee category?
This update cannot yet be made using the portal. Contact your client manager for this.

How can I register an employee for a voluntary Anw shortfall pension?
This update cannot yet be made using the portal. Contact your client manager for this.

Updates

How do I submit a change to a part-time percentage?
Use the ‘Parttime percentages changes’ update in Mijn NN Zakelijk. Important: if only the part-time percentage is to be changed, do not change the salary, otherwise the calculation will go wrong.

The guide to Mijn NN Zakelijk is available under 'Downloads' on nn.nl/mijn-nn-zakelijk.

I have an interface with a Salaris Pakket Aansluiting (SPA). Why can’t I submit a salary update?
You can only submit salary and/or part-time update via Mijn NN Zakelijk if you do not have an SPA interface. This is done automatically with the SPA interface.

Why can’t I submit marriages and registered partnerships?
We receive these changes in civil status directly from the Personal Records Database (BRP). You do not have to do anything for this. There is more information in the Civil status and children event card.

The guide to Mijn NN Zakelijk and this Event Card can be seen under 'Downloads' on nn.nl/mijn-nn-zakelijk.

Why do I have to submit cohabitation?
We do not receive information about cohabitation from the Personal Records Database (BRP). Important: check yourself whether the partner meets the criteria in the definition of a partner.

What happens to mutations when an employee moves abroad?
If a participant lives abroad, we will no longer receive information through BRP about changes in civil status or address. Any subsequent relocations and changes in the civil status of an employee living abroad, must be submitted via Mijn NN Zakelijk.

If I tick ‘Partner onbekend’ to register a new employee, is a partner’s pension insured or not?
A partner’s pension is always insured in the records. You can see this in the Employee File.

In Mijn NN Zakelijk, there is no screen to check an update before I send it. How can I check an update?
This is mainly the case for the Werknemer toevoegen update since the information that has to be filled in is spread across several dynamic steps. You can click back to check what has been entered during the input process. You can also check what information has been input after submission of the Mutatieoverzicht.

Do I have insight into the update history?
Many mutations are processed within one day, which is why we don't show their status. You will see the current status the next day/time you log in. ‘Mutatieoverzicht' shows which updates you have made and when and with what value. Go to the Werknemers tab in Mijn NN Zakelijk and click on Mutatieoverzicht downloaden.

The guide to Mijn NN Zakelijk can be found under 'Downloads' on nn.nl/mijn-nn-zakelijk.

How can I apply for a value transfer for a new employee?
Your employee can submit this request themselves through the participant portal. In a later version of Mijn NN Zakelijk this will also be possible (again) for you as an employer.

Should an incapacitated employee also be reported out of service?
Only if an employee has been ill for two years you have to report it to us. We then assess whether there is a right to a waiver of premium. When we grant a waiver of premium for this employee, we ask you to report a possible leaving of service to your client manager via email.
