What is the Personal Records Database (BRP)?
This is the former Municipal Basic Administration (GBA). Nationale-Nederlanden may request the data of (prospective) participants in collective pension schemes from the Personal Records Database (BRP) in order to meet its obligations to implement the pension agreement.
What data from the Personal Records Database (BRP) is used by Nationale-Nederlanden?
We only use data needed to start and maintain participation in the pension scheme. For example, name and address details so we can inform  your employee about his or her participation. And civil status and the presence of children to insure survivor's pension.
I only see active participants in Mijn NN Zakelijk. Where can I find the non-active participants and their details?
You will only be able to see limited information about the non-active employees in the downloadable employee list. The list will be available for up to one year. Privacy legislation prevents us from displaying more information or have it available for a longer period of time.
Can I distinguish between viewing and mutating rights in Mijn NN Zakelijk?
Yes, this is possible. The main user can delegate ‘Full Acces’ or ‘Read Only’ rights to a user. If a user has ‘Full Acces’ rights he or she can make changes, this is not possible with ‘Read Only’ rights.
How can I create accounts in Mijn NN Zakelijk for my colleagues?
The main user is able to create accounts for colleagues in Mijn NN Zakelijk. The main user of Mijn NN Zakelijk has the option to choose ‘User management’
in the top navigation bar. Already created users are visible. Click the button Create New Account to add a new user. Choose a User name. As a main user you decide on the username. Please note! A username must be attached to each other. For example John_West. Choose a User role. This role can be different with each type of product. You have the options; Full access, Read only or No access. After filling in all the user's details and making the important choices, click Save.
What does Cdd management involve?
With Cdd management, you manage access to the Client Due Diligence module. This module is only available for a pension scheme (Employee management). In the Client Due Diligence module, we show information that we receive from the Chamber of Commerce and the UBO register. This data is privacy-sensitive. Therefore, always check whether your colleague is authorised to access this data.
How do I give my colleagues access to the Client Due Diligence module?
Does your colleague have, or will they receive, the user role ‘Full access’ for ‘Employee management’? If so, the Client Due Diligence module will automatically be accessible to this colleague. If not, select the user role ‘Read only’ for ‘Employee management’ in combination with the user role ‘Full access’ for ‘Cdd management’.

In the Client Due Diligence module, we show information that we receive from the Chamber of Commerce and the UBO register. This data is privacy-sensitive. Therefore, always check whether your colleague is authorised to access this data.
Why is it important to set up user management properly?
Mijn NN Zakelijk shows company and employee data, depending on which insurance policy or policies you have taken out with Nationale-Nederlanden. In the Client Due Diligence module, we show information that we receive from the Chamber of Commerce and the UBO register. In addition, users may also submit information to Nationale-Nederlanden themselves via Mijn NN Zakelijk. All this information may be privacy-sensitive. That is why it is important that users of Mijn NN Zakelijk can only view or submit information that they are authorised to access or provide.
What types of user rights are available?

A user administrator always has full access for all types of insurance. When creating a new user, the user administrator can choose the level of access.

First select which type of insurance or module the new user should have access to:

  • Pension scheme: select Employee management
  • Client Due Diligence module: select Cdd management (only available for a pension scheme)
  • Property and Casualty insurance: select Damage insurance management
  • Income protection insurance: select Absence management

Then select one of the following options:

  • No access
  • Read only
  • Full access

*The Client Due Diligence module is only available for a pension scheme. To give access to this module, select either:

  • Cdd management ‘Full access’ in combination with Employee management ‘Read only’, or
  • Employee management ‘Full access’.

In the Client Due Diligence module, we show information that we receive from the Chamber of Commerce and the UBO register. This data is privacy-sensitive. Therefore, always check whether your colleague is authorised to access this data.
Were you using a shared account?
That is not safe and is no longer possible from you. Every employer has chosen a main user at the start of the pension contract. This main user can add new users himself. This way, your data and that of employees remain well protected.
How do I log in securely via eHerkenning or an authenticator app on your phone?
Are you already using eHerkenning? Then you don't have to do anything. Want to use an authenticator app? Then download the app from the App Store or Google Play. This app generates an extra code to log in securely.

Employees

Why can’t I see partner and address details anymore?
We use an interface with the Personal Records Database (BRP) and we are not allowed to share the information we receive with third parties. We store the information in our records.
How can I allocate an employee to another employee category
This can be done by selecting the employee and choosing ‘Change employee group’.
How can I register an employee for a voluntary Anw shortfall pension?
First you add the partner in the portal. After that change has been validated by the system you are given the option to add a voluntary Anw shortfall pension. When you want to unsubscribe an employee for the Anw shortfall pension, it is important to send an email to your client manager.

Updates

How do I submit a change to a part-time percentage for only one employee?
Select the employee you want to change the part-time percentage for and choose  ‘Parttime percentages changes’ in Mijn NN Zakelijk. Please take note that if only the part-time percentage is to be changed you do not change the salary. Otherwise the calculation will go wrong.
How do I cancel a scheduled transaction?
Does the change in our change overview have the status 'planned'? Then you can choose the 'cancel' button there. Please note! Only users with full mutation privileges can perform this action.
Why can’t I submit marriages and registered partnerships?
We receive these changes in civil status directly from the Personal Records Database (BRP). You do not have to do anything for this.
Why do I have to submit cohabitation?
We do not receive information about cohabitation from the Personal Records Database (BRP). Important: check yourself whether the partner meets the criteria in the definition of a partner.
What happens to mutations when an employee moves abroad?
If a participant lives abroad, we will no longer receive information through BRP about changes in civil status or address. Any subsequent relocations and changes in the civil status of an employee living abroad can be done by the employee in his or her own participant portal.
How can I apply for a value transfer for a new employee?
Your employee can submit this request themselves through the participant portal
Should an incapacitated employee also be reported out of service?
That's not necessary. If an employee has been ill for two years we receive a message from the UWV trough our SUAG-connection.
