Nationale-Nederlanden benoemt Maurick Schellekens (46) per 1 april tot CEO van Movir. De individuele arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekeraar uit Nieuwegein maakt deel uit van Nationale-Nederlanden Schade & Inkomen. Schellekens was de afgelopen 5 jaren CEO van NN Tsjechië en volgt Yoram Schwarz op die CEO NN Tsjechië wordt.
Maurick Schellekens is sinds 2006 werkzaam voor NN Group. In zijn eerste functie was hij als risk officer belast met het toezicht op de activiteiten van NN in Centraal- en Oost-Europa. In 2011 is hij bij NN Roemenië benoemd tot Chief Risk Officer en twee jaren later tot Chief Financial Officer. In 2016 trad Schellekens in dienst bij NN Tsjechië als Chief Financial Officer en vervolgens werd hij in 2018 benoemd tot CEO van NN Tsjechië en Slowakije. In deze rol leidde hij de cultuurverandering van het bedrijf, waardoor het imago van NN voor klanten, distributeurs, partners en werknemers aanzienlijk werd verbeterd. Tevens leidde hij de overname en integratie van Aegon in Tsjechië. Als CEO van Movir neemt Maurick zitting in het managementteam van Nationale-Nederlanden Schade & Inkomen.
