Soner Calim keert terug bij Nationale-Nederlanden Beurs

Nationale-Nederlanden Beurs breidt haar Marine underwriting team verder uit. Per 1 februari 2023 keert Soner Calim (28) terug als senior underwriter.

Nationale-Nederlanden Beurs breidt haar Marine underwriting team verder uit. Per 1 februari 2023 keert Soner Calim (28) terug als senior underwriter. Jan Jaap Troost, manager Marine underwriting: “Om de toenemende vraag en ons servicelevel op hoog niveau te houden, waren wij op zoek naar uitbreiding in ons Marine underwriting team. Soner kent ons team en werkwijze en kan zodoende direct waarde toevoegen aan het team.”

Soner is sinds 5 jaar in verschillende rollen actief binnen de co-assurantie markt. Bij Nationale-Nederlanden Beurs gaat hij zich naast Marine underwriting bezig houden met projectmatige werkzaamheden binnen de afdeling. Troost: “We zijn verheugd dat Soner weer terugkomt en verder gaat bouwen aan de sterke en leidende positie van Nationale-Nederlanden Beurs binnen de co-assurantiemarkt.” 

Na het afronden van zijn studie Maritime & Transport Law aan de Erasmus School of Law is Soner in 2018 bij Allianz begonnen als Claims Handler Marine. Na ruim 2 jaar Claims Handler te zijn geweest, heeft hij 2 jaar als Underwriter Marine bij Reaal/Nationale-Nederlanden gewerkt en tot voor kort bij HDI Global SE. 

Naast zijn dagelijkse werkzaamheden als Underwriter maakt Soner sinds mei 2019 deel uit van het Bestuur van Young InSurance Nederland. Sinds januari 2020 is hij de voorzitter van Young InSurance Nederland.
