NN Group ontvangt goedkeuring van de ACM

Samenvatting

NN Group heeft vandaag bekend gemaakt dat de Nederlandse Autoriteit Consument en Markt (ACM) toestemming heeft verleend voor de overname van VIVAT Schadeverzekeringen.

NN Group heeft vandaag bekend gemaakt dat de Nederlandse Autoriteit Consument en Markt (ACM) toestemming heeft verleend voor de overname van VIVAT Schadeverzekeringen.

Op 7 juni 2019 kondigden NN Group en Athora aan dat zij een bindende overeenkomst hebben bereikt met Dajia Insurance, voorheen bekend als Anbang Group Holdings Co Ltd, over de voorgenomen overname van alle activiteiten van VIVAT. Als onderdeel van de aangekondigde transactie zal NN Group 100% van de aandelen in VIVAT Schadeverzekeringen van Athora overnemen, evenals de ‘intercompany’ leningen, die VIVAT NV aan VIVAT Schadeverzekeringen heeft verstrekt.

Naast de mededingingsgoedkeuring van vandaag en als onderdeel van de gebruikelijke sluitingsvoorwaarden voor de transactie, hebben Athora en NN Group verklaringen van geen bezwaar aangevraagd bij De Nederlandsche Bank. De transactie zal naar verwachting in het eerste kwartaal van 2020 worden afgerond.
